Stationary
Things have been somewhat stagnant for us for the past few weeks. And yet, we keep moving forward and evolving with each passing moment.
We have decided to re-record the vocals on 5 songs, completely broke one song down to just drums and are re-recording a new song to it and are composing a completely new song that will serve as a sort of interlude near the end of the record. The completely new song will be drumless and contain a lot more synths than anything else. Fickle has been hard at work composing the new stuff while Ryan has been writing new lyrics and melodies for the new vocals.
On top of all that we just got a brand spanking new rehearsal space and are getting back into shape.
I feel like I have a lot more to write about, the transition from Georgia back to New York, the weeks here and the changing of the season which is invigorating us to make a concentrated push to finish the record- but I'm really out of words. I'm filled to the brim on Whole Foods salad bar stuff and I think it's making my mind hazy.
Bottom line is- consider The Station Myth back on target and look forward to hearing from us very soon.
