Better late than never
Normally when bands decide that their album isn't ready for the original release date, they push it back three or more months. When we originally realized that our album wasn't ready and that we had to fix things before we were comfortable putting it out in the open we made a grievious error in that we said it would take about 2 weeks. Well, now it's December which is 3 and a half months since we said we'd be done.
But guess what? We're finished.
The album has taken a whole new shape from what we originally thought it would be. Songs have been scratched and new songs have been added and old songs have been changed to become something altogether new and beautiful. More Station Myth-esque, if you will. I think you will.
So we send the album to mastering on Tuesday and within 2 weeks we'll have the completed album in our hands ready for replication so we can put it in your hands. The journey has been long, the changes have been necessary and we're ecstatic about it being released into the world.
